Course Objective

At the conclusion of this class the student should be able to determine the best method of accounting to use for their situation, should be able to apply the rules to business transactions, and to correct prior errors in application of accounting methods.

At the conclusion of this class the student should be able to determine which credits apply to their situation, determine the applicable compliance requirements, and calculate most commonly used credits.

At the conclusion of this class the student should be able to determine the correct tax treatment of employment related labor. The student should also be able to determine when to apply for penalty relief.

At the conclusion of this class the student should be able to determine the correct accountant’s report letter to use in their situation, and to complete a professional engagement letter.

At the conclusion of this class the student should be able to determine the correct choice of entity(s) to utilize for their legal and tax situations.
